HalpinRobbins delivered an Ecological Impact Assessment to support the restoration of a historic lake and surrounding habitats at Bayham Abbey, Tunbridge Wells.
The project involved restoration works within sensitive habitats including woodland and wetland environments that could support protected species.
HalpinRobbins completed a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and coordinated specialist surveys covering bats, dormice, reptiles, otters, water voles and ground flora. They worked closely with planning officers to define the EcIA scope.
The assessment demonstrated that restoration would provide ecological enhancement benefits and minimal adverse impacts, enabling the project to progress.
